Mae (Formerly Kitty Kardashian)

At approximately 10 years old, Kitty Kardashian lost her beloved owner to dementia and entered the care of S.A.L.T. Rescue. She then received the veterinary care she required, including full dental work, and Purrfect Seniors worked with S.A.L.T. Rescue to help ensure she could find a safe, loving home as quickly as possible.

Thankfully, the perfect family found her after only a few days. Their young daughter had been wanting a cat and they were intentionally looking to adopt a senior cat, knowing they are often overlooked. They felt as though Kitty Kardashian would complement their family well, and they adopted her that same evening. It was truly inspiring to see a young family open their hearts to a senior pet.

Today, Kitty Kardashian is called “Mae” and is settling beautifully into her forever home. She even has a Bloodhound brother named Charlie (who is scared of her, for the record). Mae has opened up considerably since moving in, loves to snuggle, and is clearly cherished by every member of her family.
