Available Positions
We are currently seeking volunteers to fill these positions. If you’re interested in any of them, please fill out our Volunteer Interest Form. Please note that the Director positions will require a more thorough interview and onboarding process.

The responsibilities of the director of fundraising include:
Oversee the Fundraising Committee
Search for funding opportunities (i.e. grants, sponsorships)
Organize fundraising events

Work with other committee members and the Director of Fundraising
Identify fundraising opportunities
Organize fundraising events & initiatives
Record and assess fundraising achievements
Participate in fundraising meetings
Although it would be great to have members available to participate in events in London, Ontario, we are happy to have committee members who work remotely as well.

Work with other committee members and the Director of Marketing
Develop and implement a communications plan
Create and coordinate information in a variety of formats (i.e. media outreach, event promotion, email marketing, social media, and blogs)
Maintain the organization’s branding and image
Assess the effectiveness of communication strategies

As a general member, responsibilities include:
Attending meetings
Voting
Participating in initiatives and operations that you are interested in
Having more flexible duties (work with directors and chair of the board).
Will be present at general meetings and other meetings, as needed.

Time commitments depend on the position of the volunteer. For example, Directors have more of a commitment and specific responsibilities. General Members have a more casual commitment and can participate in the activities that they are the most interested in.
