Spring

Spring and three other outdoor colony cats were rescued by Real Trooper Cat Rescue in November 2023 when their kingdom slowly disappeared because of construction. They all got vet care, went to safe and loving foster homes, and were socialized. However, Spring was consistently overlooked because she shy and an older cat.

Purrfect Seniors stepped in to help Spring find her forever home by sharing her story and sponsoring her adoption fee and annual routine exam and vaccinations. In a short time, Spring had multiple adoption applications! Real Trooper Cat Rescue and Purrfect Seniors worked to find Spring the an amazing home. At the beginning of March 2026, after almost 2.5 years of waiting, 8-year-old Spring went home.

Spring has settled into her new life beautifully. She has her favourite spots, including behind the couch by the radiator, by the big windows, and on a chair tucked under the table. Her new mom has spoiled her with attention, toys, and yummy food! Spring has also opened up the biscuit factory and purrs all day. During her first Wellness Check, Spring’s mom says their first month together has been the best month of her life. We’re so happy for Spring - she finally got her happy ending <3
