Mia

At approximately 13 years old, Mia lost her owner when they fell ill and were not able to return home. Mia also lost her home, but was thankfully taken into the care of Real Trooper Cat Rescue. Mia got the vet care and time to decompress that she needed. She was even spayed at the age of 13. Thankfully, the surgery was successful and Mia was ready to be adopted.

Purrfect Seniors stepped in to help Mia find her forever home by sharing her story and sponsoring her adoption fee and annual routine exam and vaccinations. Not long after, an older woman came across Mia on our page and fell in love.

With all of the changes that happened in her life, Mia had a bit of a hard time adjusting. But after just a few weeks, Mia is absolutely thriving! Mia’s adopter shared this update: "Mia and I are getting along famously now that there are positive ‘understandings’ and I’m really enjoying her company and antics. She seems happy and so am I. She is being well loved!"

Adopting a senior cat not only changes the cat’s life, but it gives adopters a sense of purpose and routine. We’re so glad that Mia has found a loving home and that we could be a part of the story!
