Gursahej (Sahej) Bains

Director of Administration

Gursahej joined the Purrfect Seniors as the Director of Administration in October 2024. She is a passionate, motivated, and optimistic individual who thrives in an uplifting, positive environment. She is responsible for the meetings, agendas, minutes, and organization of the company's documents. Sahej completed her studies in business management at Thompson Rivers University in BC. She always tries to have a growth mindset, learning many things ranging from her interests to upleveling her professional skills. She enjoys painting and reading fictional literature in her free time. She created a cat illustration for the donors at Purrfect Seniors.

She aims to spend some of her time supporting this cause. She has loved animals from a young age. She grew up with her pet dog Browni. Browni came into her life at the time when her family moved to a new home, adding another member to their family. Sahej's childhood is shaped with memories with her beloved dog, who passed away in 2020 due to old age. Having Browni led Sahej to empathize with animals, which ignited her love for animals. Sahej, as an animal lover, would pick up stray animals and bring them home. She would feed birds, stray cats, and dogs in her childhood home. Sahej wanted to continue helping animals and cats by giving them a peaceful old age.

Sahej has been part of Purrfect Seniors for a while and is really proud of where we have come, having successfully helped so many cats and many more to come. Sahej looks forward to continuing to volunteer her time for the betterment of this noble cause and change the lives of those lovely cats, who might be somewhere waiting for us!
