Thelma

Thelma is a beautiful calico girl who was abandoned in a house at approximately 11 years old. She was taken into the care of Dogwood Animal Rescue where she received some much needed love and vet care. Thelma was initially adopted but then returned due to her and the resident cat(s) not getting along.

To help Thelma find her forever home, Purrfect Seniors offered to sponsor her adoption fee and the cost of her annual routine exam and vaccinations. It did not take long for her perfect person, an older woman who was excited to give a home to a senior cat, to come across our website and see Thelma! She shares that Thelma is adorable and enjoys everything on her terms. They are great company for each other and have become good buddies!

It was very heartwarming to see Thelma find a loving home, especially after all that she has been through. We’re so glad that we have been able to play a role in Thelma’s story!
