Meet Rhonda!

Rhonda Walsh

Founder, Chair of The Board

Rhonda began establishing Purrfect Seniors in April 2024. As the Chair, she oversees the Board of Directors and volunteers, while managing the overall trajectory and success of the organization. She grew up in London but is currently studying biology and business at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Throughout her childhood, Rhonda’s family enjoyed fostering many cats and kittens in London. She didn’t have a cat to call her own until December 2023 when Sylvie, an abandoned adult cat, showed up on her porch. Sylvie inspired Rhonda to make a difference for cats in need, particularly those that are overlooked due to their age and/or medical status.
